Ughhhhh I accidentally picked up a sequel.
I spent the first 10 pages thoroughly confused.
An Abundance of Katherines was probably my least favorite John Green novel so far.
But! Hopefully Poison will become my favorite Chris Wooding novel.
So there’s that.
“Books are the ultimate Dumpees: put them down and they’ll wait for you forever; pay attention to them and they always love you back.”
I just fell in love with the librarian in Lee. So fabulously charming.
Also, why are Howl’s Moving Castle and Kiki’s Delivery Service considered architecture movies but Spirited Away isn’t?
Even though I walked away with ten books, my library trip was still a failure because the one book I wanted (An Abundance of Katherines) was nowhere to be found, regardless of its AVAILABLE status.
UPDATE: They just emailed me and said they found it!
Anddddd Looking for Alaska just ruined my life.
Dang it, John Green.
City of Lost Souls will be here June 4th.
City of Fallen Angels will be here June 21st.
Chris Wooding has quietly redeemed himself to me with The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray.
Infinitely better than Storm Thief. By far.
(But now I’m in the awkward position of deciding on whether or not to read Poison…)
Bought hardback copies of City of Fallen Angels AND City of Lost Souls today…
I WANT CLOCKWORK PRINCESS
I DO NOT WANT CLOCKWORK PRINCESS
….Marten and Dora broke up 391 comics ago.
That sad, sad moment in your life when you realize you’ve been reading a daily webcomic for almost 3 years. My parents must be so proud.
Jem! My beautiful Jem and his violin!
In honor of this fabulous piece of art, I’ve put up one of the bits of special content from Clockwork Prince: Burning Bright. Jem’s meeting with Tessa in Clockwork Angel from his point of view.
And another request! Jem ;3; beautiful Jem.
I can never decide who to root for. Jem is so sweet and genuine but Will has spent all his life suffering and he needs love too! AUGH!!
